The placement cell of SMGI works under the guidance of Mr. Uma Shankar Sharma an eminent contributor to the placement cell and our Hon. Director. It looks after the interest of the students and the recruiting organizations by acting as a channel of communication between them.
Placement Process at SMGI
· Invitations are sent to the companies for placements.
· Companies are required to fill up and submit the Response Form attached with the placement brochure.
· A mutually agreed date is decided for Pre-placement talk and summer placements.
· Date and Slot are allotted to the company for Lateral placement / Final placement.
Pre Placement Talk (PPT)
The pre placement talks provide an excellent opportunity for the students to know the company, profile, its offers and the career growth paths available. Companies give a formal presentation which is followed by an interactive session on queries of students.
Selection Process
The selection process is decided as per the rules & regulations of the institute and requirements of individual companies.
